John McAleer

That's just as important, if not more so." When John is not working (which is rare), you can find him in the garage fixing his cars, spending time with his grandkids, or trips to the shore. John also enjoys local history, catching up with his longtime friends, and weekend road excursions with his wife and fellow McAleer Team member, Mary.

Ned McAleer

Growing up in the business, Ned McAleer is a second generation experienced agent who learned from his expert father, John McAleer. Ned not only inherited his exposure to real estate, but also developed a sincere interest in the business. Now a seasoned professional, he brings his knowledge and skills to The McAleer Team.

Representing buyers and sellers and highly experienced in both areas, Ned has extreme focus and commitment to listening to his clients’ needs and utilizing his perceptive negotiating skills to ensure a successful transaction. Residing in Ardmore, Ned has made a lot of local connections and neighbors in the community by dedicating his professionalism to helping people buy and sell their homes.

Some of Ned's greatest strengths in the industry include his impressive neighborhood knowledge, dedication to his clients, and his strong core values. When Ned is not working or spending time with his wife and son, you can probably catch him at Citizen's Bank Park watching a Phillies game or at The Fillmore seeing a concert.

Mary McAleer

After practicing real estate part time for the past 18 years, Mary McAleer has transitioned into full-time commitment to The John McAleer Team at Keller Williams Main Line. Her previous experience includes an extensive 11 year background in the medical field, acting as a Unit Secretary for Main Line Health. While there, she learned the protocol and skills to make her unit run efficiently, while always going the extra mile for her nurses, staff, and patients. Mary has developed a strong passion for helping others, cultivating meaningful relationships, and understanding the importance of other people's needs. Her expertise in these skills along with her friendly and trustworthy disposition are contributing factors to her successful real estate career.

As a proud wife and team member to John McAleer- Founder of The McAleer Team, Mary will guide you through your buying or selling process with ease. Her perseverance, work ethic, and experience that she has built over her lifetime has helped her adapt to any situation and transaction. Mary goes above and beyond for her clients to understand their wants and needs and to provide excellent and loyal service. She recognizes and values the trust her clients put in her, and strives every day to exceed their expectations.

Born, raised, and still residing in Havertown, Mary is a loving mother and grandmother to her four grandchildren. She loves spending time with her family, walking her dogs, and vacations at the shore.

Chris Dougherty

"I have grown up around one of the best realtors in the business, and I've watched the wonderful relationships and friendships that have transpired from the business. That's what inspired me to take this path in Real Estate.", says Chris.

Learning from his mentor John McAleer, Chris Dougherty's passion and fondness for the industry represents The John McAleer Team as a full time agent. During his previous career working for Madsen Inc., he installed and fixed heating and air conditioning units to help support his two wonderful daughters and fiance. As he knew that was not his forever future, he was inspired to take a path in full time real estate. Quickly, he dedicated himself to passing the real estate requirements and learning the ins and outs of the industry and ever moving market. His successful business methods are now thriving and he is recognized as the newest face on The John McAleer Team.

Chris puts a strong focus on giving his clients the 24/7 attention and assistance they deserve. His consistent development of professional education and real estate knowledge helps him keep up with the latest real estate trends and utilize his strong work ethic, high morals, and core values in his daily operation. His hard work, charisma, and true passion for his business has helped Chris' reputation as a qualified realtor grow at a rapid pace.

Chris lives in Havertown with his fiancee and two daughters. He enjoys spending time with his girls, taking weekend trips to the mountains, and working on his new home.
